Tree of Life Cushion Creation

What to do with all those scraps of fabric and a wet rainy day in England during COVID-19 when you cannot get out.

I decided to put the fabrics together, and turn some grey fabric into something quite beautiful... I drew a tree and tried out a few fabrics side by side...

Then I cut out some leaf shapes and played around with positioning, pinning them down when I was happy with the arrangement...

Then I got sewing, zigzagging the edges of each piece of fabric, starting with the tree, until I had finished the design, put in a zip and joined the cushion cover together - to created this... the finished product, which certainly brightens up my dining room...
