Always looking to find something that I can salvage, I had a few treasures from around the world that were really ready for the bin - until i got out some paint and fabric and breathed in new life. I will surely keep them for a bit longer - and if I do pass them on anytime soon, they will certainly brighten someone's home.

Barbados Beauties

The drummer, fisherman and lady with the fruit basked were looking a little bit like shipwrecked ghosts, very faded and ready for the bin - after 18 years, they were certainly pretty tired. - With some new fabric, cut and glued (no sewing required) and some acrylic paint, they are once again vibrant and full of the colours of the carribean.

Thailand Treasures

The ladies are supposed to be welcoming at either side of a door and they have spent at least 2 decades by the door, getting more worn, knocked over and fading fast from their previous golden beauty. - Given a dust down, a wash and some fresh acrylic paint, they look revived, have that sparkle back in the eyes and are ready to greet for another 2 decades.
